Airspace Awareness
Hampton Roads has some of the most complex airspace in the country — home to multiple military installations and a busy commercial airport. We navigate all of it.
Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
Class C airspace — LAANC authorization required. We handle this automatically.
Naval Station Norfolk (NSN)
Restricted/prohibited airspace. No drone operations permitted within boundary.
Langley Air Force Base (LFI)
Class D airspace — coordination required. Part 107 waiver obtained case-by-case.
Military Training Areas
Various temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) may apply. We check 24–48 hours before each flight.
